This routine begins with a lovely neck and shoulder opening sequence to reduce tension and tightness. Then continues with a gentle warm up sequence to stretch and tone the whole body. Try and practice first thing in the morning to start the day feeling good 😊. Suitable for pregnancy and general practice. Any questions please get in touch. Do not practice yoga postnatally before getting the OK from your GP or midwife x

Sometimes 3 minutes is all we have! If you are pregnant or postnatal and need a super quick fix for tense shoulders or stiffness in the back, this ones for you. Please ensure you are practicing yoga with your doctor or midwife’s approval during pregnancy. It’s safest to wait 6 weeks after a vaginal delivery and 8 weeks after a c section before starting a yoga practice. You can introduce this super quick practice into your daily routine to help minimise stiffness in the back and shoulders. Move slowly and with caution, be conscious of your breath. A lovely gentle series of exercises to release tension and tightness in the lower back. Suitable during pregnancy, the postnatal period (after 8 weeks) and beyond. Move slowly and with care. If something doesn’t feel right, just stop. Speak to your gp or physio beforehand if you have serious back problems. Cautions- don’t lean too far over when looking over your shoulder- you don’t want to feel any tension through the abdomen, especially in pregnancy. Any questions, just message me. Ash x
